Vice President - Regulatory and Finance
Lisa Kelso is vice president, Regulatory and Finance, AEP Ohio. She is responsible for AEP Ohio's financial and regulatory strategic plans, including financial investments, technical direction on regulatory policy, state filing requirements and retail electric tariffs. She represents AEP Ohio on all matters before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. Her previous roles at AEP Ohio included director, Regulatory Services and director, business operations support.
Since joining AEP in 2008, she held management positions in AEP’s transmission asset strategy and business planning organizations and worked in AEP’s audit services department. Prior to joining AEP, Kelso worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Ohio Senate. She also completed the Ohio Legislative Service Commission Fellowship.
Kelso graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s of business administration from Ohio University and was a recipient of the Copeland Scholar Award. A certified public accountant, she earned a master’s of accounting from the Ohio State University.
Kelso serves on the Central Ohio Advisory Board of A Kid Again, is a past member of the Junior League of Columbus board, and is a graduate of Leadership Columbus.
Kelso lives with her husband and two children in Upper Arlington.
