Lisa Kelso

Vice President, Customer Experience

Lisa Kelso is vice president, Customer Experience, for AEP Ohio. She oversees AEP Ohio’s customer service functions including account management, community relations and customer service design. She is responsible for developing and supporting a customer-centric culture and improving the customer experience for AEP Ohio’s 1.5 million customers. Her previous roles at AEP Ohio included vice president, Regulatory and Finance, and director, Regulatory Services.

Since joining AEP in 2008, Kelso has held management positions in AEP’s transmission asset strategy and business planning organizations and worked in AEP’s Audit Services department. Prior to joining AEP, she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Ohio Senate. She also completed the Ohio Legislative Service Commission Fellowship.

Kelso graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Ohio University and was a recipient of the Copeland Scholar Award. A certified public accountant, she earned a Master of Accounting degree from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Kelso serves on the boards of Children’s Hunger Alliance and A Kid Again. She is a past member of the Junior League of Columbus board and is a graduate of Leadership Columbus.
