Thank you for your patience.
We know you depend on us for power, and we take that responsibility very seriously. Here are highlights of the work we planned across your region in 2022. Below, you can also find a few key projects happening in Northwest Ohio to help keep the power flowing to homes and businesses in your community.
Inspecting ~1,400k Miles of Electric Lines
Hazard Tree Removal From 195 Electrical Circuits
Replacing 703 Electric Poles
Decliff – Larue Transmission Line Project
This work will include upgrades to improve electric reliability for customers in Bowling Green and Montgomery townships in Marion County. The project involves building nearly six miles of transmission line and a new substation.

Located in Putnam and Allen counties, this project will upgrade the aging electric transmission system to help provide a reliable flow of electricity to customers in the area.
Roselms-Kalida Area Transmission Line Project
This project involves upgrading approximately 30 miles of transmission line and constructing about 10 miles of new transmission line. The planned improvements will help reduce the likelihood of power outages and streamline repairs when outages occur.
Wapakoneta Area Transmission Line Project
This work will include constructing approximately 15 miles of transmission line and two new substations, as well as expanding an existing substation. These improvements will add an additional power source to the area — improving electric reliability and supporting economic development.
In addition to the major projects listed above, ongoing improvement and maintenance work will continue as needed across the region. Estimated work and timelines are subject to change dependent upon weather or unforeseen conditions.
Lima Station Construction
A new facility will be constructed to deliver power to Lima and surrounding communities. Check back for updated information as this project progresses.
Van Wert Distribution Line Project
This work will include the installation of new electric lines to support growing power needs in the Van Wert region. The upgrades will also provide additional power sources to the area to help reduce the likelihood of power outages and streamline restoration when an outage occurs.
