These upgrades will provide power to The Ohio State University’s new Wexner Medical Center Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Center in Dublin while supporting city’s continued beautification efforts.

In tandem with work being completed by the City of Dublin, our crews will relocate overhead electric lines from the south-side of Shier Rings Road to underground equipment located along the newly constructed University Boulevard.
This work is part of the City of Dublin's Project, and will move existing overhead electric equipment underground. Additionally, the new service will provide electricity to the industrial park where The Ohio State University is building a new facility.
The work described above will occur along the south-side of Shier Rings Road and newly constructed University Boulevard from Eiterman Road to Avery Road.
Although additional work is being completed in the area by the City of Dublin, AEP’s relocation efforts are scheduled to begin in fourth quarter 2021 and be complete in first quarter 2022. The project timeline is subject to change based on weather conditions or unforeseen events.

You may experience a brief power outage when our crews install new electric equipment. These interruptions should not last more than two hours. Temporary lane closures along Shier Rings Road may be needed throughout the construction process. Our construction crews will coordinate with local traffic control to minimize the impact while working to ensure safety for the community and our crews.
