As part of our upgrades in the area, construction crews will install new underground conduit, electric lines and other equipment. These upgrades will help improve system reliability for the area. As new equipment has been installed along the path near the Pinnacle Golf Course, we are placing grass seed mats in areas where landscaping has been disturbed. In response to feedback from customers, we have changed the type of mat used, switching from nylon to straw. The straw mats have been approved by the city and contain the same grass seed as is used by the golf course. In order for the grass to successfully regrow in these areas, it's important that the mats remain in place. Please refrain from moving the mats. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to return the landscaping to its original condition.

Crews will begin installing upgrades in July 2021. Due to delays receiving all materials, the project was temporarily placed on hold. Final portions of the work will resume in February 2022 and is expected to be completed in mid-April 2022. The project schedule is subject to change dependent on severe weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Crews will upgrade underground conduit, electric lines and equipment along Buckeye Parkway and adjacent neighborhoods from White Road to Pinnacle Club Drive, and along Pinnacle Club Drive and adjacent neighborhoods from Buckeye Parkway to Pinnacle Woods Drive. We do not anticipate the need for outages during these upgrades, but there is always the possibility that crews might need to take a brief outage to safely complete work. You may see more construction vehicles in the area. We do not anticipate road closures during construction. If temporary lane closures are needed, we will coordinate with local traffic control to minimize the impact to drivers while ensuring the safety of our crews and the community.
