Inspecting ~1,220k Miles of Electric Lines
Hazard Tree Removal From 133 Electrical Circuits
Replacing 360 Electric Poles
Upgrading Over 28 Miles of Electric Lines
Senecaville Area Improvements
The project involves building just over two miles of transmission line and equipment to provide another source of power to the area. These improvements will reduce the likelihood of power outages and speed up restoration of power when an outage happens.
St. Clairsville Area Transmission Project
These upgrades involve constructing new and rebuilding transmission line, as well as installing equipment to improve the operation of the power grid.
In addition to the major projects listed above, ongoing improvement and maintenance work will continue as needed across the region. Estimated work and timelines are subject to change dependent upon weather or unforeseen conditions.
Barnesville-Pumpkin Station Project
This work will include replacing the existing substation south of Barnesville with a new one in order to provide greater electrical capacity to support growth in the area.
Lexington-Salerno Station Project
Crews will install two new electrical distribution circuits, including new overhead electric lines, poles and equipment. These enhancements will provide greater capacity, supporting existing electrical needs and increasing requirements for economic growth in the community.
