At AEP Ohio, we’re looking at new ways for our customers to better manage their
energy use and save money on their electricity bills.
As part of the AEP Ohio gridSMART® Demonstration Project, approximately 110,000
Smart Meters have been installed in selected northeast central Ohio homes and businesses.
AEP Ohio will determine how Smart Meters and other digital technologies improve
our ability to serve our customers more efficiently and reliably.
With Smart Meter technology, AEP Ohio can offer expanded money and energy-saving
programs to help customers use electricity more efficiently and save money.
