While we’ve taken a number of steps to improve the reliability of your service, we still have work to do to make sure it meets your standards and ours. We truly appreciate your patience and are committed to improving the electric service in your community.
Here’s what you can expect:
Equipment Repairs
In early October our crews completed work to update additional equipment in need of repair.
Forestry Work: Currently Underway - December 2020
Our forestry crews are currently working to assess the trees along more than 30 miles of our lines and equipment and trim back or remove any that pose a threat to your electric service. If any hazardous trees fall outside of our right-of-way, we’ll work with property owners to determine the best course of action. As always, the goal is to prevent longer and unpredictable future outages by keeping hazardous trees away from our power lines and other equipment.
Pole Replacements
We’ll soon begin replacing several electric poles identified during a recent inspection that are in need of repair.
Long-Term
Our engineers are also exploring additional options in targeted areas to improve electric service. We’ll keep you informed on any future developments, and of course will let you know what you can expect and when.
We understand your frustration and truly appreciate your patience — we’re committed to improving the electric service in your community.
