Tree Wire Project

We’re always working to keep your power flowing.

Work

We’re replacing power lines and adding new technology. The new poles and cables that crews are installing will be built to better withstand falling tree limbs and will help to reduce tree-related power outages. If you have a pole in your yard, crews will need to access and work on your property.

Why

We’re committed to improving your electric service. We know you love your trees, and so do we -- but we all know that trees and power lines don’t always mix.

Where

If you’re in the project area, we’ll be in touch before work begins. You’ll receive a postcard in the mail, followed by an automated phone call approximately 48 hours before the work is done. We are partnering with crews from Our contractor crews from Intren Davis Pickering who will knock on your door before entering your property and will have appropriate AEP Ohio personal identification.
